2026 Meeting Minutes

The meeting was held at the pavilion at the Crook County Fairgrounds and called to order at 6:37pm

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The Treasurer’s report was read and approved

There was a discussion about the increase in cost for insurance and different ways that we could help cover these costs.

Wacey made a motion to increase the Membership fee to $50 per member regardless of the number of family members you have. Paisley seconded the motion and it was passed unanimously.

Angie made a motion that we increase the fees for Barrels, Poles, Stake and Goats to $20 which was previously $15 and Breakaway and Team Roping to $30 which was previously $25. Wacey seconded the motion and it was passed unanimously.

It was discussed and agreed that we will continue to Co Sanction with OBRA and the Barrel Alliance.

New Board Members

  • President- Jason Wood

  • Secretary- Jennifer Robinson-Liz Russell will be taken off the US Bank account and

  • Jennifer will be added in her place.

  • Treasure- Brittany Santucci

  • Barrels- Karen Mitchell

  • Poles- Angie Finley

  • Stake- Paisley Wood

  • Goats- Sheena Thompson

  • Breakaway- Janea Trindle

  • Team Roping- Charmarie Bradach

  • Awards- Kara Ramsey, Emily Ashcoff, Angie Finley

Wacey agreed to bring Goats and Sean agreed to bring cattle

Jason said a quick reminder that we are needing help the day of jackpot and asked everyone to please step up and help where they can. If you can stay and help with the cattle events it would be greatly appreciated.

Char made a motion to go back to paying the jackpot secretary $100 so that all the members can ride and not have to worry about the office. Wacey seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

There was a discussion about the tentative dates that we had saved. It was decided that we cancel Oct 3 which conflicted with the Junior High Rodeo. We are going to look and see what we can do the weekend of April 3 and 4 and will post dates as soon as we can.

A Big thanks to the Awards committee for the amazing awards that were handed out.
